Caring for Wholesale Rings

January 23rd, 2010

Caring for Wholesale Rings photoRing is one of favorite jewellery of girls. Almost all of girl wear a ring.

An important yet often overlooked aspect to owning jewellery involves maintenance. After all, who would like to see their several thousand dollar investment go to shambles because they failed to apply some simple tips? Even though wholesale rings don’t compare in cost to their real counterparts, it doesn’t hurt to take some straightforward steps to protect your investment. Since these rings are only coated with a precious material, they are much more susceptible to wear and tear. But by no means does this mean you should handle them with extreme care. They can take some roughhousing, but only so much.

Many of us engage in physically strenuous activity on a regular basis. If you are about to go shovel holes for your new fence posts or are getting ready for a game of tennis, it’s a wise decision to take your wholesale ring off. It can rub up against objects, substantially depleting the plating. Make sure you find an appropriate place to store it. Shoving it in your pocket where it can rub against your car keys and cell phone isn’t exactly the safest choice. Store it in a empty pocket or in another safe location.

If you want your ring to maintain its stunning gloss, it will need to be cleaned regularly. Many retailers offer jewellery cleaning sets that are great for this purpose. Some of these kits may require that you dunk your wholesale rings into a cleaning solution. Others employ a different approach, allowing you to scrub the ring clean with a pretreated sheet. Test the cleaning product on an inconspicuous area of the ring first before going ahead and cleaning the entire piece. This will prevent any mishaps.

A number of wholesale rings are sold with cubic zirconia stones or other synthetic stones used to mimic diamonds. After some time, these can invariably become dislodged from the ring. Part of the maintenance procedure should include checking that these stones are well intact. If one is showing signs of structural weakness, it should be attended to immediately. You don’t want to wait until you have actually lost the stone to get the problem taken care of. It might be possible to repair the ring yourself, using super glue on a hot glue gun. This can get messy, so you might be better off taking it to a professional. It if is beyond repair, you can luckily get a new one at an affordable price.

Why Diamonds Are Girl’s Best Friend?

January 7th, 2010

Why Diamonds Are Girl’s Best Friend? photoThere is a some question in my mind. Why are girls so like a diamond??

Exquisite diamond necklace, pendants, earrings, rings, bangles, brooches and all other diamond jewelry are expressions whereby the lovers wish to be remembered by their girls. What can be a better way of communicating ones deepest feelings to his lady- love than a diamond which bring sparkle to one’s eyes? Diamond is a precious and radiant gemstone, which is the costliest stone when compared to other gem and sub-gems. If the cut is done artistically, a better luster is obtained and the price of diamond mostly depends on its transparency.

In the olden days, princesses wore diamonds jewelry during their wedding presumably gifted by their suitors. They not only wore diamond jewelry but they also copiously used diamonds on their wedding dress to signify their pride and honor. Girls not only expect diamond jewelry on their wedding but they also purchase them for various occasions such as engagement, anniversary, birthday and more. These are some of the reasons why diamonds have come to be considered as Girls’ best friends. Many wore anklets which are studded with diamonds, some use it as bindi on fore head and some pierce their nose to wear a nose ring studded with a beautiful diamond. These are the trends that have strengthened the belief that diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend is a song introduced by Carol Channing in the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1949), which was written by Jule Styne. It was based on a novel by Anita Loos. The song is, even to this day, acclaimed as a famous piece performed by Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 film. This song by Marilyn Monroe is true for not only for stars or elite ladies as to many common women who are eager to purchase diamonds to enhance her status in the society. History is bearing this out as the late princesses Diana, Catherine Jones, Jennifer Lopez, among a lot more, have proved that diamonds are their best friend. Now-a-days accessories which are studded by diamonds are worn by women not only on neck, arms, fingers and ears but also used on other parts of the body that is leg, forehead, and nose.

Diamonds make excellent courtship gifts from this perspective because they are simultaneously very expensive and lack intrinsic value. Any man who would buy diamonds for a woman must be interested in making an investment in her. Of course, diamonds are beautiful, but they are beautiful precisely because they are expensive. A good way for ladies to test the sincerity of their men is to demand from men who are both willing and able to invest a diamond gift–known as a courtship gift or nuptial gift.

A man who is intrinsically interested in luxury European cars might buy her a Mercedes. A man who is intrinsically interested in real estate might buy her a house in the suburbs. In either case, his gift is an indicator of his general willingness to invest resources in her and her offspring. So, it seems that diamonds serve as a litmus test for how a woman feels about her man. If you do not still understand the concept of a woman wanting diamonds from a man, then read the book Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters?. In the book, two evolutionary psychologists explain why are diamonds a girl’s best friend?
