How important chicken stock for a cooking?? Can you make it by your self?? Or do you have idea to make a vegetable stock??

Chicken stock is an important ingredient for tasty cooking. All the most delicious recipes rely on a good chicken stock for success. However most chicken stocks are prepared using various part of the chicken body and some are unhealthy to be consumed. I have seen chicken stock that is either too oily or contains parts with level of cholesterol. For health purpose, I tried out vegetable stock and surprisingly the taste was really good. After a few testing, I would like to share out to everyone this great recipe.

Ingredients

Prepare 3 carrots, 2 celery stick, 2 onions and 2 tomatoes. We would also need 10 mushroom stalks. For additional aroma, prepare 2 bay leaves, 1 sprig of thyme and 4 sprigs of parsley. Lastly, we need 10 black peppercorns for additional sweetness.

Method

1. Start by cutting the vegetable and then put all of them in a large saucepan. Next, tie the bay leaves together with thyme, parsley and peppercorns in a piece of muslin, then add it into the saucepan.

2. Prepare 2 liters of cold water and pour it into the saucepan. Heat it up until it boil then slowly bring it to simmer. Continue with the simmer process for about 1hr 30minutes. Not to forget, do not cover it while simmering to avoid over spilling.

3. Once done, strain the soup into a large bowl and leave it to cold. Once done, you can freeze it so that you can use it at a later date.

Below is a delicious recipe for cake lovers everywhere that can be made in no time at all for your friends and family.

Ingredients:

3 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

3.5 oz melted butter

Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon

Juice and grated rind of 1 orange

7 oz caster sugar

8 oz flour

Get a large mixing bowl, and add the flour, half of the sugar half the orange rind and half the lemon rind. Beat the milk and eggs together and put into the bowl along with the melted butter. whisk all the ingredients together until you have a smooth mixture.

Share the mixture into the different compartments of a 12 hole muffin tin. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit, and bake the cakes for up to 15 minutes until the cakes have risen and are firm.

Put the grated rinds and the rest of the sugar into a bowl and strain in the fruit juices. Whisk it all together until the sugar has dissolved.

Take the cakes from the oven, loosen the edges and take out of the cup holders. Prick the tops of the cakes with a fork and pour the syrup over them, bit by bit until absorbed by the cakes. Leave the cakes to cool. For the best tasting cakes, serve them on the same day that they are made.

This recipe will serve up to 12 people, has a preparation time of 20 minutes, and a cooking time of up to 15 minutes.
