3 Ways to Find Investment Nuggets

3 Ways to Find Investment Nuggets photoAre you confused to invest your money?? Don’t worry let me tell you about ways to get good way for investment.

Searching for great investment opportunities is a lot like prospecting for gold. Not only do you need to know what area will yield the best possible results, but you need to know what has the most potential to give you the abundance of returns you need. Whether you are just starting out with investing or you have been at it for quite some time, prospecting for investment opportunities is something everyone struggles with. Here are three areas you can visit in your prospecting efforts to find ideas where you should invest.

1. Media. Yes, that dreaded “M” word can provide a wealth of information about new and emerging technologies, businesses, and market segments. Magazines like Wired, Entrepreneur and Business Weekly all talk about companies and ideas with great potential. Newspapers like the Wall Street Journal give an indication as to which businesses are performing better than others. Television programs like CNBC, Bloomberg, and others can also provide little clues that, when looked at collectively, can point you in the right direction.

2. Technical Analysis. Most trading platforms allow you to search for relevant technical events. By filtering stocks by the most relevant to your investment criteria (e.g. Head and Shoulders for long-term, Relative Strength Indicators for short term) you can find a safe starting point when it comes to filtering down your search of all potential securities. Of course, all of these securities will need to be investigated further to determine whether they are worthwhile of your hard-earned dollars.

3. Regular Observation. If you are in a larger city or metropolitan area, you can observe some of the growth and expansion that local companies are experiencing. If you see large buildings or plants being erected, there is a good sign that this business need to adapt for growth… adaption makes sense only if there is guaranteed income. As well, if your neighbor or friends work for publicly traded companies, you can determine from their conversations about work whether or not their company is experiencing hardship (they won’t be happy in most cases because their livelihood will be at risk) or growth (almost always happy because along with the extra work and being short-staffed, they are usually compensated for their efforts).

Finding great investment opportunities can be as simple as regular observation or it can be as complicated as filtering securities through an elaborate technical analysis tool. Either way, finding these nuggets is just the start. The next step involves initiating a more detailed investigation and performing a cost-analysis review to see whether the investment is worth making in the first place.

How to Make People Like You Easily

December 24th, 2009

How to Make People Like You Easily photoIn this world we live with million people. Find a friend is so hard better than find a enemy. So what must we do to make a lot of people like you very easily??

Imagine you just met someone. It could be anyone, a guy a girl, anybody. Now you want this person to like you and you are one of those people who try too hard to impress people so they will like you. Well, you try to act way to cool with this one person. You instantly try to tell them a funny joke and they just look at you. You try again by telling them about your favorite football team to see if they like the same team, they kind of ignore the fact and continue on with their day. Making someone like you instantly can be tough, and it is a big key factor in communication and leadership. If you want to communicate with someone effectively, you have to make them like you. Lucky for all of us, their are easy to apply tricks that can make people like and respect you. Let’s start off with the helping hand idea.

Helping others

Did you know that helping out other people will make you like them? Think about it, if you were to to a favor for someone, how would you view that person. You would more than likely think that you must like them for doing a favor for them. It makes us feel good to help out others. Now with that in mind I want you to take that idea and reverse the effect. If we do something bad to somebody, we tend to dislike that person. Now I want you to realize that I didn’t say anything about when we help someone out, that they like us more, or that if we do something bad to someone they hate us more.

The contrary is true, so we need to apply this idea to making other people liking us. If you can make someone you just met do you a small favor, they will like you for doing this favor for you. Now please take into consideration that you must be moderate when asking favors. Do not ask someone you first met if they can change your break pads on your car for free. If they do it, I’m sure they will not be happy about it. You have to find simple means and work your way up to bigger favors. Ask them if they can hold your drink for a moment while you tie your shoe, or have them check your back to see if their is a stain on your shirt. Little favors can go along way with people. Make them simple at first and then you can start to work your way up to bigger favors as you begin to get to know each other better. Another key point on this matter is that you should repay favors now and then even if they don’t ask. If they do ask, don’t dodge the favor, get it done. It creates a nice reciprocal effect.

Mirroring

When we talk about mirroring, we mean copying their body language. If you were talking to someone, and you both had the same body language, then you two are in sync with each other. When two people are in sync with one another then they are believed to be on the same level of thinking. This creates a like in each other. People do this unconsciously all the time. If you watch two people having a deep conversation with one another, it’s very likely that they are in the same posture and making the same body movement with one another. It’s a good idea to learn how to mirror correctly. Your words and ideas have to match your body, so if you are in agreement with the other individual and you are showing that you have something in common, then you are going to match one another. Practice mirroring on your friends and family till you become fully conscious of what you are doing then try to master mirroring others you just met. It takes practice and skill to get it down but that’s almost with anything in life, so don’t give up.

Self Humiliation

Let’s say that you fall down and bust your bottom on the ground. People start to laugh at you and you take it to heart and get offended by it. Your humiliated and you can’t stand that idea. If this is you, then I have one bit of advice for you. Stop crying and start laughing. If you get upset at yourself for making a mistake or at the person who laughed at you, then they are not going to really care to have you around because your a downer. Let’s take this to the positive side though. If you laugh at your misfortune, then people are going to laugh with you instead of at you. This shows people that you are fun and not easily brought down by anything. Everyone makes mistakes, and if you show that your mistakes don’t bother you then people are going to respect you for not trying to be perfect, because everyone knows that their is no perfect person, so why try to act like you should be one. Just lighten up and have fun at every opportunity, even the bad ones.

Common grounds

This here should be a no-brainer for everyone. We tend to like people that we have stuff in common with. If you can find common grounds without prying them out of people then you are going to get going on a good path to a good friendship. If you know that someone like to skydive because they are wearing a skydive t-shirt, and you always wanted to try it and are fascinated by it, then ask him about it. If he’s got a tattoo or the roadrunner and you love the roadrunner, then comment about it. It’s easy to find common grounds if you look in the right places. All people are different but their is usually something that we can find in common with almost anyone. It is not safe to start telling everyone what you like though in hopes that they will bite onto something, it may work, but the fail rate will be very high just for the simple fact that you are talking about yourself and that is annoying to most people. So your best bet is to look for clues into what they like and ask about it. See if anything surfaces.
