Get Fit with Wii
Wii fit has been producing great results. It is a way for you to be able to get fit and lose weight while you are having a great time.
This game really does what it says and gets you off of the couch and exercising. It monitors your weight for you so it is really helpful and motivates you to eat right too.
Its great that the computer keeps track for you. It is easy to set up too so you can just get started right away. You even get to make your own character. The most fun games i think are the step and jogging.
I think that the ski jump was probably my favorite of the mini games. It was fun, but you actually were using your leg muscles every time you jumped. It simulated doing squats, but made it more fun. This game would be a good game to get for any overweight kids in the family. It might not be a cure all, but it might get everything moving in the right direction. A lot of times people put off exercise because it is not fun, this game is mostly fun and could be enough stimulus to get you moving until you see some results.
Once you start seeing results, it doesn’t need to be fun anymore, the results are motivation enough. I found myself logging on and doing my exercises even when I didn’t feel like it just in order to have more log time than my wife. The graphics and sound are what you would expect, nothing too annoying and the Miis are always fun to watch. The music wasnt too bad, but eventually I would just put on my iPod and listen to my own stuff.
